I received a BSBA in Financial Management from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and am a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder. I also received an MBA from the Sam M. While attending the University of Arkansas, I was selected as Portfolio Manager for the Raymond Rebsamen Trust Fund, an equity portfolio managed and administered by a select number of students from what is now known as the Sam M. Walton College of Business.

I have been managing personal and family equity portfolios since 1981 and I have an extensive background in residential real estate leasing and development.

In 1987 I began specializing in fixed-income research and management for Monarch Capital Corporation, a Fortune 500 insurance holding company with assets under management totaling approximately $1 billion and joined Llama Asset Management Company, LP (the predecessor to Garrison Financial) in 1994.

I have authored articles for leading financial publications including The American Association of Individual Investors Journal and Northwest Arkansas Business Journal, and was a contributing author for a book on bankruptcy investing entitled Bankruptcy Investing – How To Profit From Distressed Companies, which was recognized by Forbes magazine as one of …the best from the class of ’92.”

I have also appeared as a guest lecturer at the Harvard Business School and I am a member of the Springdale, AR Club of Rotary International.

In 1998 I was named to the “40 Under 40” list of up-and-coming business leaders by the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal.

You’re probably bored by now so I’ll stop!
